Windsor, CO at a Glance
Nestled in the eastern foothills of the Rocky Mountains of Colorado,
Windsor offers small-town ambiance and convenient access to nearby Rocky
Mountain National Park. With over 110 acres (44.5 ha) of park land preserving
the natural beauty of the town for residents and visitors alike, the town of
Windsor is a locus for outdoor enthusiasts. The town's two public golf courses,
Pelican Lakes Golf and Country Club and Highland Meadows both provide world-class
golfing experiences. Visitors can take in the annual Windsor
Harvest Festival in early September which features food, arts and crafts,
commercial vendors, a parade and more. The Windsor-Severance
District Library is a modern facility offering computer and Internet access
and library services to patrons. Centrally located in Colorado's Front
Range, Windsor also provides easy access to the neighboring towns of Loveland,
Ft. Collins and Greeley.
